Reverend Roderick N. Norton is a passionate leader, speaker, teacher, and motivator who ministers to his community with a natural love for preaching and teaching. Since childhood, he has felt a special connection with God, and that connection has only become stronger through the years. He has seen how God has moved in “seemingly” subtle ways in guiding his life decisions and healing various areas of his life. He considers it part of his life’s work to assist others in making their spiritual connection.

Through his leadership, dedicated service, outreach, and genuine caring for people, he has set an intention to support all people desirous of spiritual growth. His will is to help people discover their divine potential and develop their gifts, so they can boldly and confidently express their highest spiritual aspirations and live their best lives now.

His passion for teaching people how to live better lives is rooted in his own experience in working with prayer and spiritual principles in successfully navigating the mountains and valleys that life sometimes presents and living victoriously.

Roderick is the founder and spiritual director of The Empowerment Center for Better Living, an independent New-Thought ministry in Chicago, Illinois. It is through this ministry that he espouses the better living message “that it is God’s will that every individual on the face of this earth should live a healthy, happy and prosperous life.” This message resonates through countless lives and has given individuals the tools necessary to become masters of their life experiences. In this ever-changing world, one thing is constant in his ministry: an atmosphere is created in which a spiritual miracle can occur.

Roderick has lived a life of service and firmly believes, as scripture says, “to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more, will be demanded.” Therefore, He is prepared to continue to give of himself so that others will be able to experience authentically a world that works for them in a loving, peaceful, prosperous, and healthy way.
